Frequently Asked Questions

Who takes the photos?

All of the photos you see on our website and our social media are taken by our Weddings to Go photographers.

How long will it take to get our photos?

We strive to deliver your beautiful edited wedding gallery to you as soon as possible. The turnaround time is up to six weeks. Quality is our priority when it comes to delivering the best possible product to your. For that reason, we devote extra time and attention to these precious memories.

How will we get our photos?

Your gallery will be uploaded to our Wedding Album page on our website. You can view and download all of the edited photos there. If you wish to have your gallery private, rather than on our website, just let us know.

Does Weddings to Go do all of the decor setup?

Yes, we own all of the decor that we provide for our setups. We have two warehouses stocked with the huge variety of decor that is featured on our website. It is staged, crated and labeled specifically for each wedding before being transported to the ceremony location.

Can we bring our own decor?

We often have requests from couples who would like to bring small decor items such as personal signs, favors for their guests or personal photos they would like to display. Just contact us when you are choosing your wedding package to get approval for what you have in mind.

How do I check availability when choosing a wedding date?

To check availability, simply fill out our Wedding Request Form under the Contact Us tab on our website. You can also give us a call or email us.

Where are your wedding locations?

Our most popular beach locations are Smathers Beach, Higgs Beach and Fort Zachary Taylor State Park. If you prefer an alternative to a beach venue, the Key West Garden Club offers a lovely botanical setting. We also offer wedding packages for sailboat excursions.

How busy will it be on the beach while we are getting married?

Since these venues are public beaches, our experience has been that weekends (especially Saturday afternoons and evenings) tend to be more populated. There may be other wedding companies occupying spaces on the beach at the same time during the weekend as well. If you prefer less congestion, Monday through Friday, and even Sunday, may be a more favorable option.

Can we bring our own alcohol to the beach to celebrate?

Ordinances are posted at beach locations throughout Key West that prohibit alcohol. We respectfully ask that you not violate this ordinance by taking alcohol onto the beach. Since you are under contract with Weddings To Go, we have the right to insist that all alcohol be removed from our beach venue.

Can we get married at one of your locations while in Key West on a cruise?

We are happy to accommodate cruise ship passengers with wedding ceremonies while they are in port. Contact us about details for a stress - free experience as a cruise ship client.

What can we do if it rains?

We have a detailed Inclement Weather Policy in place. Please visit this page for complete information.

Do you have a beach wheelchair?

We do have a beach wheelchair available for your event. Please contact us for details.
